The Horace Mann League recognizes Champions of Public Education
for their willingness to speak out on behalf of public education
as an integral part of our democracy.
These individuals may be a superintendent, a school board member, another educator, or a community member who steps up and takes action, such as writing op-eds or articles, lobbying the legislature, making presentations on public education.
Champions of Public Education will be honored in our newsletter, on the web, and in their community as a Champion of Public Education, a testament to their dedication and service.
Please consider nominating an individual who has taken decisive action to support public education. Click here to nominate a Champion of Public Education!
